The collapsing roof
gives way to wind, rain, and rats
who love their new home.
You really have to wonder why they bother boarding it up. Or maybe it was still liveable when they did.
I think the boarded-up places are ones that the someone intended on returning to, which sort of makes it more poignant when it’s clear (like this place) that a return isn’t going to happen.
Yes, they are sad buildings. Looks like it was a long time ago that someone left them too.
