Probably. But you took the blue out which is a corrective. Very nice how the ‘horizon’ zigzag is echoed by the small windows.

But it’s still a cliche… I have one shot that is even more of a cliche than this one (it’s got dried red chiles, a carved wooden bench, some sort of desert-y plants, a stucco wall, thunderheads, and blue sky) but I am too embarrassed to post it. I have SOME standards.

Hey, if that shot does not have a sunset in it, or as Ken Bello (Oneowner) would say, a basket of kittens, then its not as bad as it could be and you should roll it out for all of us to see.

OK, just because you asked, I will post it one of these days. But maybe instead of black and white, I’ll post it in color. Very saturated color!

Then you will have plenty of fodder for clichés and might finally see the writing on the wall, rather than sconces.
