That’s true! In fact, Buddy Holly (who died 56 years ago today) is buried in this cemetery. There are usually guitar picks and other mementos at his grave.

On this same trip to the cemetery, I stopped by his grave and took a few shots – maybe one of these days I’ll post one.

I am so glad to see you got out in the snow, when ‘sensible’ Lubbockonians must have been behind closed doors. And the cemetery is a good place when your landscape has been made into a negative. Did you consider inverting this image?

I got so into the photos that I sort of forgot that I was cold. Which must be how photographers freeze to death.
