What counts for topography
We don’t have hills around here. There are jokes like “It’s so flat you can watch your dog run away for a week.” or “It’s so flat that if you look real hard you can see the back of your own head.”
So, instead of typical topography, we’ve got things like this asphalt plant to break up the horizon a little bit.

Wonderful landscape and balance!

Thanks, Mark. I used to do a lot more landscape photography than I do now; sometimes I think I should re-visit it. Maybe when it gets warm again…

Yep. We used to be under water.

I’m glad I live somewhere that I can’t see the back of my own head.

But if you could, you’d get to see that man-bun, which I’ve shown remarkable restraint to not mention until now.

Ha! That’s what I get for having children. I’ve never willingly worn a “man bun”. At least as far as I know not being able to the back of my head.
