Looking Forward by Looking Backward
Last year, I posted a photo of the world’s creepiest doll. (You’re welcome for taking you back to THAT nightmare.)
And here’s another shot of the same doll. That reflection in the window makes it look like she’s glancing back over her shoulder to see what’s in front of her.

Is it possible the doll got even creepier over the past year?

I would not have thought that was possible last year…but now? Yes.

Thanks, John. There’s just something…wrong…about this whole scene.

I know what you mean, Linda. I was RIGHT THERE and I still have a hard time making sense of it!

And spooky store too.

Like most of these places, the store was full of old boxes and other assorted junk that hadn’t been important enough to do anything with – and it WAS spooky.

It’s the combination of the doll looking casually over it’s shoulder to what looks like a distorted universe, both elements together make such an impact.

The doll’s “universe” (inside that store) was chaotic and distorted, too. Poor thing just can’t escape!

Thanks, Mark. It’s been a year since I made this shot, and it took me until now to notice that it had some potential. I’m glad you like it!
