Elevator Lobby
I stayed in a new hotel on my recent trip to Phoenix. That is, the hotel was new. The building was a fantastic Art Deco place that must have been a bank at some point in its past. The main lobby and this elevator lobby were luxurious, and I enjoyed seeing all the architectural details up close.

Love Art Deco and TN. marble as well. Keep up the good work. At loc.gov a lady photographed there and many Federal buildings in different states. Some great Art Deco and WPA Art. Her name, best I remember, is Carol Highsmith.

Thanks, Richard. (And, yes – your memory is correct; it is Carol Highsmith. But I had to Google her; I’m not smart enough to have just KNOWN that!)
