The Night Parade
This was one of those things you can do once, and then you don’t ever have to do it again – the annual holiday parade-with-boats at the River Walk. There were approximately one billion people packed in the walkways (I don’t like crowds) and all of us were worried that someone was going to fall in the river (the bets were on the two-year-old in the group.) (No one fell in.)
But it was pretty enough.
And look – I ended up with a color image. Which just goes to show you how the entire experience impacted me.

Yeah, I totally took one for the team. You’re welcome.

But you got a very nice shot, and if you go again, you will likely get another. Or perhaps an even more interesting shot of someone trying to get out of the water.

THAT’S the shot I want – someone (not related to me) getting out of the water! My friend Adolfo saw a little girl fall in one time, and a man that was nearby reached in and grabbed her out. As far as I know, Adolfo didn’t push the kid in…

“Not related” is probably because you only go to things like this with that kind of family 😉

I just “not related” in case any of my relatives read the comment. Just between you and me, though, there’s a possibility that I would not mind if certain of them did get a bit of river-bath…

I know what you mean. My unclean family members should bathe more often too.
