The Corral
I guess there aren’t that many places across the country where the term “cart corral” makes sense. I would have anticipated that the middle of Nebraska would have been one of those places, but this one was left in a surplus yard. And there weren’t any carts around.

Friday night, I heard a woman talking about the feral kitten she’d adopted. Apparently, it had some sort of odd, non-symmetrical face that made it not very cute. So she named it Bitch Face. That’s a sweet name, don’t you think?

…and that was the MILDEST thing she told us. We’ve since named her Overshare Sarah, and I’ll spare you the details since this is a family blog. But she spared us no details.

Yeah, you’d pretty much dislike her on sight. And anyway, there are lots of nice people around here that you’d rather know.
