Seriously? Again with the clichés? I almost have it out of my system.
The only possible thing that might salvage this is that the woman down the stairs a few turns has almost the same image on the screen of her phone.
Eventually, she and I made it to the bottom of the stairs and outside in the Parisian evening.

Guess I’m naive; it’s not a cliché for me. Like the way the woman’s shadow takes care of that light mass on the left.

Thanks, Linda – it seemed like every single person on the stairs was taking photos! And you’re right; that shadow helps out the composition quite a bit. I’d be lying if I said I planned it that way…
