No conferences for me. But I sure can relate. Plus it is a great image.

It took me a while to figure out that I need time by myself. And that, as it turns out, meshes nicely with my love of photographing empty spaces. I’m lucky it worked out that way!

I was all set to tell you how much I like the contrast and lines, and then I saw that Sue already said that—and mentioned two other elements that I also like a lot. I like the square format, too. Interesting that your phone camera did what you want more than the “real” camera did.

Sorry about Sue getting in ahead of you on the comments…! I have actually gotten a few phone-camera photos into shows; I can’t decide if that’s sort of amusing, or a little bit maddening, given all the “read” stuff I lug around. I guess a photo’s a photo, no matter how you made it.
