People who think they serve the Lord work in strange ways indeed. I hope you did another shot somewhere just of the sky. Deserves to be more than just supporting cast.

I don’t think I did get anything (usable) with just the sky, so it’s stuck being supporting cast, I guess.

Aw shucks.

I guess the only thing to do is plan a return trip, right?

Yes. Arrange in advance for the sky to rearrange itself into the exact configuration it was in at the time.

That sounds like a completely workable solution. Or, also, you can watch for a post around Sept 25 – I found a mostly-sky photo, just for you.

I will definitely enjoy the September 25 post, but in the meantime I’d like to see you arrange the sky.

Certainly. I’m on it. In fact, I have already made the early-morning fog dissipate. Next I guess I’ll start working on gathering up some puffy clouds….

Excellent. Make it so Number One. I know you’re up to the task.

There must be a gospel song about towing your cross behind a ‘44 Ford, looking for Jesus in the early morn. West Texas truckers follow the light of that cross, and Mary is waiting when they pull in for gas.

Yes, probably. In fact, I think I can hear the faraway sound of twangy guitars and nasal-sounding voices….

Those clouds may not bode well for that poor cross.

I guess I ought to go back and check on it, maybe?

Almost makes you want to hang around to see what happens…

I know! I was by this place in March and the cross didn’t look like it had been moved since then. I guess it’s hard to get the flat tire repaired?

An either ominous or inspirational photo, and I’m sure the story behind the situation would lend to either! A great find and better photo.

Thanks – I really don’t know what to think about this. It’s not far from the sacred site of Chimayó and over on Facebook someone suggested that perhaps the cross was used by pilgrims traveling there. But I saw it in March, just prior to Easter, when many pilgrims do visit Chimayó, and it didn’t appear to have been moved since.
But anyway, I was happy to see it again, and with that sky for added interest!
