Intrepid woodlands explorer that I am, I was easily able to spot the dead Adirondack that the murderer had attempted to hide.

It was indeed a mass murder, and the very polite Minnesotans have agreed not to mention it. Apparently.

There are a number of criminal types, whom you can read about in the daily news, who – I think – at least partly do it for the recognition. Notoriety above all.
