It’s true that olives do not work well in monochrome, at least for the most part.

Oh, yeah – they were terrible in b&w! (My usual camera shoots only in b&w, but I didn’t have it, so I made these grocery store images with my phone. Sometimes it’s good to leave the “real” camera home.)

The stuff I’m shooting in Iceland tends to be more black-and-white, but not pure black and white. I’ve only posted one so far.

Thanks, Frank. I got that out of my system for a while, though. (Although I do have an idea for a project that presented itself to me as having to be in color. So I’m not entirely sure what THAT’S about…)
