Surveilled
The 2018 census estimates put the population of Melvin, Texas, at 167. And I swear that every one of those 167 residents found a reason to drive through town while I was there. It seems more efficient if one person drives through and then lets everyone else know what’s going on. But what do I know?

It was a pretty desolate place – almost every building in the whole town looked abandoned.
