At first light
We had to make a sad trip earlier this month, to Nebraska for my father-in-law’s funeral. (He got COVID and then it got him.) We spent the night in Kansas on the way up, and even though the trip was sad, the morning light was glorious.

Thank you, Frank. It’s been a tough year for everyone. And I so much appreciate your kind comments on this photo. Jus this morning, I was texting with a friend about hope and how to have it and how to hold on to it, in spite of all the obstacles.
