Nicely done how the lights appear like birds. Deliberate camera movement?

This is from a few years ago, and as best I can recall, I did several shots of the lights in the trees, moving the camera deliberately on some of them. Maybe on this one. But even if the movement was deliberate, I never thought “I can make the lights look like birds!!” I’m not that smart/organized/whatever.

I would like to say that I carefully planned the whole shot, from the blurry effect to the light-birds.
But that would be a lie.
