Hidden Entry

I always thought this place had been the town’s hospital, but I am relying solely on my memory for this “fact.” But even it was something else, it still has an ivy-encrusted front door that turned out to be remarkably difficult to photograph.

Inexplicable Seating

I am not sure why it once seemed like a good idea to place concrete benches along the town’s main drag. Maybe in simpler times, breathing the exhaust of passing cars and staring at the pavement was a legit thing to do if you had a bit of spare time?

One Way Cleaners, with birds

There were a LOT of pigeons in downtown Littlefield; they outnumbered the people by a significant margin. I want to think the One Way Cleaners down there at the end of the block does some serious business removing bird shit from clothes. But then again, that would require people, right? Or at least imply them…
