I spent a whole day in San Antonio taking Ubers from place to place – no real plan, just finding things that that sounded interesting.
Although Western art isn’t by favorite genre, I somehow decided to go to the Briscoe Museum of Western Art. I liked the art a lot more than I expected, found an artist I’d never heard of whose work I liked very much*, and saw this scene from the second floor mezzanine.

Enjoying your series on your visit to San Antonio. I followed the link to Kim Wiggins and his artwork is amazing, and vibrant, in all the categories. I’ve always liked this kind of art. My mom painted this type too, and I have several of hers. 🙂
