Home, again
I am back from vacation, and am working on catching up things around here. Like all the posts I missed on the blogs that I follow. Oh, and laundry.
Anyway, here’s what I saw on my trip. I realize that it’s just full of cliches, from the palm-tree fringe framing the shot, to the boat bobbing in the water, to that sunset. But, still: it’s what I saw.
There are more vacation shots to come, of course. Some in color, some with people – I went crazy while I was away!

Not counting this shot, there are only 1173 others from my trip…..

That IS a great frame at the top. Clichés still need to be photographed well! And deserve to be rephotographed (well) over and over. I would resent it if is after a good shot was taken, and became a cliché I was not allowed to try the same thing!
If all your days ended like this, then your holidays must have been terrific. Eleven hundred shots would suggest that was the case.

One of my friends saw this photo and said, “You took a Postcard Vacation!” He’s right.

I want to be there! Captures a feeling that I am sure will be treasured when the weather turns to cold (but then I am not sure where you are usually… maybe it never turns cold!).

And even though I just got home yesterday, I am ready to go back there!
I live in the Texas Panhandle, which has plenty of cold weather for me. A Fijian winter is much more appealing to me!

Cliches or not, it surely is a beautiful image.
