A picket fence provides some measure of security, I suppose, at this rural airport.
But mostly, it provides a subject for a photographer waiting for her flight home….

NIce shot! I like the little patch of reflected light beside the rail on the left of each picket, or is that really a shadow just a bit further ot the left giving that impression.
I really like going to the small airports where security hearkens back a few decades. It makes me nostalgic.

The white behind the picket on the left is a pole or something beyond the fence I was shooting; the white on the right picket is the lit edge of the picket.
If you like small airports, you would have loved this one! Instead of security, we had to stand on the scales, holding our carryon bag. Then as we boarded the plane, we were told our seat assignment, so the weight was balanced.

That sounds good, unless, I suppose, one knows enough about plane balancing to take offence at the placement.

Notice I did not say anything about the colour? I am assuming you have noticed, and either have to live with it, or have an appointment booked. A bit like a large blemish on the face – even if I wanted to enquire, I wouldn’t! So I haven’t. And I won’t. Rest assured.

Yes, I did notice this was in color. And thanks for not mentioning it. You showed remarkable restraint.

Thanks – I enjoyed the wait at this little airport, as I had plenty of time to get shots like this one.
