People who live where it actually does snow regularly are going to laugh when I reveal that we had 11″ of snow on December 26-27, and are now still mostly snowed in. I’ve cleaned the pantry, organized the liquor cabinet, done laundry, cooked meals, worked on the blog, texted my work friends (we’re looking forward to a conference next week in New Orleans, where I understand it rarely snows), watched Netflix, read some books, written some stuff.
And now, just about the only thing left is to go ahead and make an end-of-the-year post, which I’d sort of decided I didn’t want to do. But that was before the snow. The gallery below has one photo from each month, chosen by the number of “likes” each one received. That’s not very scientific or anything, but it’s a reasonable representation of what you – my loyal and engaged followers – thought I did well.

This is a terrific selection, Mel. I love to work on indoor projects on snowy days (and we get our share, just not this year (so far)).

Thanks, Richard! Don’t be jealous, though – there are LOTS of images that won’t make the cut for the blog…!

A gallery to be proud of, Melinda. Our part of the UK grinds to a halt with less than six inches of snow!
