August 9
You know sometimes how you go to an unfamiliar city and feel right at home? Like you could live there? I didn’t feel that way here, but I did get to see this bridge, which my blogging pal over at El Bueno El Feo y El Malo will likely recognize as a design by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava.

It’s always great to see a different take on the Sundial Bridge. I’ve never been there, but I’ve seen enough of the usual shots to almost not want to see it someday.

Thanks – glad to know I was able to find a new angle on the place. It was (my estimate) 185 degrees on the bridge so I didn’t much feel like spending a bunch of time looking for shots!

First week of August? Yep, it was high-90s in Sacramento which usually means over a 100 in Redding! Once it reaches 100 or 185, it all feels the same — bad.

Nice! Great lines, good abstraction-jeez, you’ve got an eye for these things. Got your e-mail, too- get back to you soon. Do the show!

Thanks, Brett. I was worried that I was taking the EXACT SAME SHOT that everyone who goes to the bridge takes! Also: some new developments re. the show!
