I agree, but still you have to go where the photo ops take you. When I first saw this my reaction was “This is Texas?” because of the palm trees.

There are palm trees in Texas – down in the Gulf coast, mostly – but none around where I live. The ones in Barbados are prettier, but it’s possible that my memory is clouded by the quantities forum-based beverages I was forced to drink.

Thanks, Toad. Barbados has a nice blend of tropical and colonial buildings. Makes for good opportunities for photography! (When you aren’t at the beach, I mean.)
