These barstools are well-used, as you can see by the way the paint’s worn on the seats and rungs.
Just so you know, the “wood” railing on the left side isn’t actual wood, but a composite made up of 95% recycled wood and plastic. That doesn’t really have one single thing to do with this picture, except that I didn’t want to leave the impression that the only things here were wood and water.

That little triangle of water is sort of hidden away, isn’t it? (Don’t tell anyone, but I forgot about it when I was writing the post – all I saw was the wood, fake and real….)

The water is rather like wood grain too, so its no wonder it can be overlooked.

The reflections of light on the water look like the way I drew wood grain when I was a freshman in architecture school.
(In the spirit of honestly, my wood-grain skills were not that much better by my senior year.)
