Caution (Centennial Park)

Sometimes I go to a city and think “Yes, I could live here.”

This was not one of those kinds of cities.

But, I did what I could to find something amusing to do when I wasn’t stuck in a convention center gathering up the continuing education credits for my professional license.* Naturally, the amusement came in the form of photography.

* That’s a true story: I really do have a professional license. Believe me, there’s no one more surprised by that than I am.

  1. Atlanta is a beautiful city. Sounds like you didn’t have a chance to explore it.

    • Yes, Julia, I didn’t have much time to explore. I’d built in a half-day at the end of the conference for exploration, but work duties back home meant that I had to cut my trip short. I was able to spend an afternoon in Centennial Park, and will be posting a series called “Urban Details” that I photographed there – stay tuned!

      • Atlanta is a large sprawling city, but also with a lot of Southern charm. Living in New York I think of Atlanta as a city in a forest. If you visit again check out Virginia Highlands and The international Farmer’s Market in Decatur.

  2. I have a licence too, but it’s not professional.
