this is a night show? Cool, were you trying for a dynamic sky with windswept clouds?

I took this about a half-hour after sunset and I was trying to capture some of the drama of the clouds.

I am sure you must have placed those two boulders there. You probably carry boulders in your camera accessories bag to make shots like this one. You got the clouds too!

You didn’t lift my camera bag did you? Because sometimes it feels like there ARE boulders inside!
But, no, in this case, the boulders were already there, just waiting to be photographed. Or to keep cars from running into the church (which is what’s in the right-hand side of the shot).

You seem lucky with your boulders. I usually find them with a tire or bumper, like in front of my neighbour’s place who doesn’t like car wheels on “their” lawn (no sidewalks or curbs around here and road rights of way are about 1/2 paved and 1/2 grass).

The Patient Spouse had a really good idea after I shared your comment on this shot: inflatable boulders. Genius idea!

Wonderful idea. Maybe he can get B&H to stock them?
