It all started here
The storm drain. It all started with a photo of a storm drain. Then some other things happened, and the storm-drain-photographer and I got to be friends.
Last weekend, that blogger, Ehpem, and I got to meet. Ehpem was kind enough to fetch me at the ferry landing; our first stop was the storm drain. It was good to see it in person. And to get to meet Ehpem, who spent the entire weekend driving me around town so I could see in person the things I’ve been seeing on his blog. And so I could make some photos of my own.
Who, really could have possibly predicted all of this from a blog?!

Great image! Love the balance and distribution of the stuff on the beach!

Thank you, Mark. After I saw the storm drain for myself, I could certain understand why it’s been the subject of so many of Ehpem’s photos!

Thanks for the mention Melinda! It was so nice to have you visit. And to have you school me in how to photograph the storm drain as well! It was fun, and we should get together again soon.

I agree – we SHOULD get together again soon. I don’t have any photographers around Lubbock that I shoot with, so having someone else with a camera was a treat.
As far as the storm drain goes, you are way, way ahead of me in good shots of it. I am trying not to be jealous!
