Getting some sun
I did see things other than storm drains and driftwood on my visit to Victoria, although you’d not know it from reading this blog. Ehpem, an excellent guide, took me to a part of town where we got to see some architecture, an excellent old car, graffiti, and a group of folks (and some flowers) taking in the afternoon sun.
(By the way, this shot was taken only a half-block from where Ehpem captured this scene, which I completely missed because I was looking at a poster on a utility pole.)

Thanks for all the mentions Melinda!!! You are very circumspect in your presentation of people and yet this shot is not at all about the flowers

You’re right – it’s not about the flowers.
I hate to use cliches (as you know!), but street photography really IS outside of my comfort zone. So I guess I back into it, with things like flowers.
And. you’re welcome!
