The game
Many years ago, my father-in-law tended bar at this place. I sort of had the feeling that he’d probably recognize this customer, who seemed pretty content to sit on his regular barstool, drinking beer and watching whatever game was on television.

A riot of colour, and a person too. This is kind of a double leap away from the MGH we usually get. I like all of it. Nice to have a distant connection to the place too. You might have asked the guy if he remembered your father in law – he might well have, unless he drinks more than he should.

I wasn’t startled, if that is worth anything. I have seen at least one other post of yours with a person in it. From California somewhere. Besides which I have recently started to clutter up my blog with people so have not a leg to stand on.
