Booths are going
Does your town have one of those restaurants that no matter what kind of eatery is there, just never seem to make it? This place is just around the corner from my office and in ten years, it’s been at least five different restaurants. And it’s been a vacant building more often than it’s been anything else.
The most recent iteration was called “Kiss My Grits” because nothing says “keeping up with modern food trends” mor than using the catch-phrase of a TV show from the 1970s. It was terrible. The restaurant, I mean. (Also, the TV show. But that’s neither here nor there.)
But something’s happening over there – the other week all the booths and furniture were piled up out in the parking lot.
I’ll let you know when the next place goes under…

We have those as well here in Ktown. One would think after so many eateries have failed everyone would know better. But that said, I keep looking in the mirror thinking I will get handsome one of these days. Nice find, easy as it was, from our eyes on Texas.

So, that made me laugh out loud. I have the exact problem with my mirror, too.
