Bandstand (with puddle)

One of the good things that came out of months and months from working from home was the chance to establish work hours that were very flexible…which in turn let me set aside time for a lot of photography webinars.

I even watched some on street photography; the best one of these was taught by Pulitzer-prize winning photographer Essdras Suarez. One of the things he talked about was looking for (and then using) puddles to put reflections into images. You’ll notice that even though I took a class from a master of street photography, I still didn’t include people in the shot.

Baby steps, y’all. Baby steps.

  1. Sadly, I almost never think to use puddles……but I do use people sometimes

  2. It sounds like we’re each part of the way there!
