A lesson that I am trying to teach myself is that sometimes it is OK for a photograph to not be completely documentary, that there are times to move past the this-is-exactly-what-I saw point of view and slide over to this-is-sort-of-what-I-saw-and-this-is-how-it-felt-to-have-seen-it.
