February 16
During our big snow storm on Sunday, I took a hike. Well, OK, it was more like a walk. A walk around my backyard, if you are going to press me on it, which I guess barely counts as a walk. It must have been more of a stroll. Anyway, I saw this dried leaf cupping snowflakes and the tiny ice-balls that fell for a while before the snow started.

This is beautiful! I love how you can pick out some of the details of the snowflakes themselves and the focus with the plant kind of sinuously fading into the background is lovely. The colors are great too. Thanks for linking to me too! 🙂
