Terrific exposure and/or post processing

Thanks – not too much post-processing on this one, if you can believe it!

I can believe it, though I don’t think I am capable of getting an exposure like that – how did you do it? Spot metre on the lit buildings and then perhaps bracketing too? Whatever you did, it works very well.

Oh, you give me WAY too much credit with all your talk of metering and bracketing and so forth! This was shot at f22, ISO 22, for 15 seconds. The fifteen-second time was the time was based on how long it took that one car to drive down the street, but before the next car turned down it. Pretty scientific, no? To summarize, then: I got lucky!

Ah, those long exposures always seem to be hit or miss, for me anyway, and especially if I am pushing things with an ND filter or something. I think you method was a really good one. I wish my camera went down to ISO 22!

I can’t type: the ISO was actually 200. And, yes, my experience with long exposures is hit or miss. Mostly miss.
