Sun. A beach. What else do you need, really?
Well, maybe some sort of a rum-based beverage. And a camera.

Yep, the rope really ties it all together. Sky blue is my favourite colour (being from England lol).

“Ties it all together”!! I see what you did there.
This doesn’t look too much like a British sky, does it?

I like to think of myself as a kind of punmaster. This would look exactly like an English sky if you added, I dunno, say 10,000 clouds into the mix. That’s why I like it! Beautiful blue, the colour of happiness. I think I read an article about it saying seeing that colour releases certain chemicals in the brain that can make one happy. Certainly the guys behind Facebook and Twitter seem to agree.

In addition to adding the clouds, I’d also have to make that blue a lot duller, wouldn’t I?
Even WordPress seems to agree re. blue: there are a lot of things that are blue on comment archive page I’m on right now…

Thanks, Lisa. It’s snowing here in Texas today, so this is a nice change from what I see outside my window.

The only thing I don’t like about this is that I didn’t take it.

That made me laugh! (And I’m sorry you weren’t there – it was a good day, and you would have had a lot of fun.)

Yes, sunscreen! (I was using sunscreen when I took this photo. Pale skin, etc.)

Glad to hear that. Skin cancer is quite common down here.

Here, too. In fact, just a couple of years ago, my dad had to have radiation treatments for skin cancer on his scalp. That’s a good reminder for me re. sunscreen!

Great shot. A rum punch like they make in the islands would be perfect …
