It takes a certain courage to do that!
I had a friend in California who rescued thrown out chandeliers from an Ikea outdoor bin and hung them like that on a well spread out low fruit tree in her front garden…. it was very interesting and unexpected to see these chandeliers half hidden in the foliage. She changed them around but was never able to rig up electricity to them because they all had some damage ( and she feared a fire….) …

I really like this idea – the one I photographed and your friend’s, too – but it’s just too windy in Lubbock for this to work out very well.
