A marked trail
From this angle, it’s a little hard to know if those rocks are going up the trail to meet the storm, or coming down in an effort to escape it.
Of course, there’s always the possibility that they are just rocks, doing what rocks do: biding their time until they’ve eroded away.*

*I actually don’t know if that’s how it works. My college geology class was a long time ago.

It appears that you command the clouds to take up just the right position. And of course I like the way you’ve arranged the rocks, but they’re easier than clouds, right? Nice photo.

My friend Ehpem, at http://www.burntembers.com, has developed a theory that I carry inflatable “rocks” in my camera bag. I can neither confirm nor deny….
Oh, and the clouds? They are just IMPOSSIBLE to work with. They blame upper-level wind currents, but I think they just like to be difficult.

Now that you mention it, there DID seem to be gravity there…

If they are really trail markers, then I am always pleased to see them. As for Geology, my understanding is that it is basically bullying. Rocks sit there quietly, minding their own business until along comes a force greater than them. A torrent, a slide of snow, or a bigger boulder on the move, and then they get pushed – usually to repeat the process with a smaller bit of rock that they in turn can bully.

When I took that geology class back in college, it would have been a lot easier on all of us if they’d just said “Geology is bullying.” at the beginning of the first class!
