Off Season
For the same kinds of reasons (which I don’t fully understand) that I prefer to look at the backs of buildings or at things that are falling apart, I was happy to visit the beach in the winter, when there weren’t many people about and the lifeguard stations were pushed together to keep each other company until spring.

I really like this shot. Makes a nice companion to Perutations of a few days ago. They would hang well side by side.
