Supper Club

Our friends over at Wikipedia say that “supper clubs tend to present themselves as having a high-class image.”
I have no further comment.

I don’t think he’d be very far down – the water table’s pretty high! But still, I don’t think I’ll look.

I think that it all depends on the location of the club. This one fits its ‘milieu’ and probably its clients too … not Acadia but – and I invent a word here … – but ‘decadia’. As an image it has power. As a document of a localized way of life it does too.
