Yesterday afternoon (bonus post)
The best days are the one where I’m doing something with my granddaughter Hannah. Yesterday, she went with me to pick up a framed print for her bedroom, and then we decided to go on a photo walk. Hannah was really into it (and I sure was proud!).
And not only was she into it, she got some really nice images.
And this one has, she says, a “vintage” look to it:

And check out these two shots, at a playground:

She was disappointed with this one, because she was trying got line up a couple of elements and they didn’t quite come together like she’d hoped (welcome to our world, Hannah!). But, still, I think she did a good job:

I think I’ll hand over this blog to Hannah one of these days!

Great shots by Hannah. I can’t wait to teach my sons how to take pictures. 🙂 I think I see my future self in you, because I’m the one who’d do the same thing with my grandchildren. Haha

It’s so fun to see what kids will think interesting enough to photograph; you’re going to have a ton of fun when your sons start taking pictures. I was very proud of Hannah yesterday – every one of her shots were things she found on her own!

Yes, it is. And she only lives four miles away, so I get to see her often.

She’s got talent, Melinda – but then she has a very good teacher.

Thanks, Andy.
She’s an odd kid – loves anything artistic (drama, band, art class, etc.) but her favorite subjects in school are math and science.
(And I’m pretty sure she’d be the same kind of photographer whether or not I was teaching her or not!)
