Do not block intersection
The weather was changing: the day that started clear ended up overcast and damp.
Taken across the street from the Texas Chili Parlor, referenced in the famous Guy Clark song Dublin Blues and almost literally in the shadow of the capitol building. (If you go to the Chili Parlor, order up a mad dog margarita and hum a few bars for Guy.)

I like it! I am surprised each time I see one of your photos that shows traces of a tripod – I don’t think of you lugging one around as most of your shots could be handheld.

Most of my shots ARE handheld – but I like to mix it up now and then! You know how I am! Also, “Traces of Tripod” would be a good name for a blog that featured, well, photos shot with a tripod.

Wow!! This is beautiful!!
How do you get a sky like that? Long exposure?
Nicely done!!

I used a couple of ND filters so I could get a long exposure in the daylight. But the main thing was luck: the weather was changing, the clouds were moving quickly, and they were broken up enough against a very blue sky that their motion was visible in the long shot. I am glad you like – it’s one of my favorites.
