Risk management
I love the bottom three rungs of this ladder: they have a distinct “rustic” or “artisanal” feel to them, don’t you think?
But I am not a risk manager. Or a safety officer.
I am just alley-roaming photographer.

Maybe he was using it to check the U-verse connection? Or to look for his mail.

Congratulations on hitting 400 posts, in this blog.
Looks to me like that is an old fruit picking ladder – missing it’s third leg (though the shadow is standing in for one quite nicely). I really like this shot – simple in many ways, but an awful lot going on, like those powerline shadows.

I kind of missed this the first time I walked by. My attention was drawn to something further down the alley that didn’t actually photograph all that well. But, when I did eventually notice it, it was the sort of mundane thing I love to find.
And thanks on the 400 – but I won’t be able to catch up to you.

You are far beyond my count between all your blogs, and it is I that will never catch up to you unless I post 3 a day for a couple of years. Not that it matters!
