  2. I like this one. I also like the earlier one with all that pavement. Funny how one doesn’t even notice the grassy bit in the first shot.

    Why would anyone want to upholster their furn.(ace)?

    • Upholstering furnaces is a tradition down here in Texas. It’s so hot for so much of the year that the furnaces are unused. They tend to gather dust, which then blows full-force into our houses the first time we turn the heat on in the fall, giving the house an unpleasant smell of burnt dirt. BUT: if the furnaces are upholstered the fabric catches the dust. Then, when that first cold front hits, we take the upholstery off the furnace, crank up the heat, and have odor-free warmth. It’s an amazing solution to a pesky problem.

      Or, maybe it’s an abbreviation for “furniture.”
