On that cold morning, the Madonna looked liked she’d climbed atop the urn to better catch a ray of sunlight, as she tried to warm her marble bones.

I really like this one too. There is something alive/moving about that statue which I think is partly due to the way you have presented it, and not just the sculptors talent.

That “movement” is likely due to the photographer’s shaking from the cold. She’s kind of a wimp about cold weather, believing that anything below about 80F starts to get uncomfortably chilly.
