I really like the colour one. But it depends on what mood you wish to project.

When I wrote the post, I really couldn’t decide….but today, I agree that the color one is my favorite. Tomorrow – or even later this afternoon! – I will probably change my mind!

I’d take the black & white image and give it the merest hint of sepia – just a touch, almost not there. In other words, I like the top image!

Thanks.
This was an odd thing – usually I have a clear sense of which shot or which version of a shot works the best, but with this one, I just couldn’t make up my mind….!
Also – I hope your show’s opening goes well!

You can’t go wrong with red, white and blue. Put me down for the color version but I also like the the black and white, too.

As I mentioned to another commenter, I like the color version best. Today. I have a couple more shots from this town queued up on the blog, and they are color photos, too. For some reason, I am pulled toward color shots of a desert town…go figure.

I have to go for the raw simplicity of the black and white.

I was positive that would be my favorite, too – until I took a good look at the color version. I’m tending a little bit toward color shots from this particular town, for some reason.
Interesting that the people who’ve commented are evenly split between color and b&w.

Colour for me, though I like them all and if you had not given us the choice, I would have been very satisfied with the black and white. Less so the middle one. Great sky!

Yes, I liked the sky that day – it seemed sort of gauzy.
And your vote broke the tie: the color version was the favorite.
