The travelers’ beacon
Should your travels take you to Snyder, Texas, please consider staying at the Beacon Lodge Motel. It’s easy to find.
In 2008, a Yahoo reviewer said, “They have absurd rules like no clean towels and no calls after 10. He will make you pay extra for looking at him.” Newer reviews are better, so I guess there’s been some staffing changes. But I would like to know the going rate for looking at the manager….

Who needs clean towels if there’s HBO? There is HBO, right?

Yes, I am pretty sure there is HBO. Next time I am in Snyder I will verify and let you know.

You might want to just make the phone call for verification, that way you don’t have to pay the price for looking at the manager. I guess I won’t research this place, you obviously found the best titbit that is out there.
