Kamloops Cowboy Festival

I am grateful to my good friend Brett Erickson, who told me about the Art of the West Show and Sale at the Kamloops Cowboy Festival in Kamloops, British Columbia. Actually, in addition to telling me about the show, he encouraged me to enter. And I am glad I did: two of my photographs were accepted into the show.

So, if you happen to be in or around Kamloops from March 14-16, please stop by, and you can see these photos:

  1. Lovely photographs, similar in mood. Thank you for posting them large. The second one makes me think of those landscape paintings with ruins, maybe something like this: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Llu%C3%ADs_Rigalt_-_Night_Landscape_with_Gothic_Ruins_-_Google_Art_Project.jpg, but I like yours better. And the first one could be an illustration for _Grapes of Wrath_, except maybe not with the mountains in the background. Congratulations on deservedly being accepted into show.
