Yes, I miss Jovitas. It was working just fine, but the owner was in some kind of drugs trouble, I think.

Barbara – thanks for stopping by the blog, and taking time to comment. This was the first time I’d wandered along South 1st Street to take pictures, so I didn’t know anything about what I was seeing. Too bad about the restaurant – it looked like it would have been a good place to hang out.

Yeah, it had really great little bands playing every weekend, no cover charge, and lots of people dancing. It had a great vibe and the food was good, too.
