I like this too. Kind of like a detail from one of your road side memorial shots and just as emotive.

It’s interesting that you’d make the connection with the roadside crosses – this was shot along a fence at the church in Chimayó, which is an important holy place. There’s a long fence along the walk to the church where pilgrims have placed items to honor their loved ones – mostly crosses of various materials, and rosaries. And this one feather….

Ahh. Well, it has that same feeling, which is a pretty great result for a closeup of a feather if you ask me….

Thanks. The feather caught my eye because it was the only non-man-made item I saw along the entire length of that fence, which gave it added significance.
