This is very nice – I sure like that panel of metal in the window frame. Your treatment here looks a lot like an old film image.
I suppose that greenish thing to the far left is a bit of farm equipment, but it sure looks a lot like an old horse drawn buggy, or sleigh. I know its not a sleigh in Marfa, but I haven’t had my breakfast yet.

This is one the images that I converted to B&W with NIK Silver Efex and then blended the layers in Photoshop to bring back some of the color.
The greenish thing’s is 4 chairs – sort of a retro, bucket-shaped ones that don’t look very comfortable. When you come to Texas, we’ll go to Marfa and I’ll show them to you. Maybe you could climb over the fence and sit in them to see how comfortable they are.

Marfa would be a good place to have on the itinerary of that trip. Uncomfortable chairs though – I can’t agree to that since I know that you know where hundreds and hundreds of them can be found…

So, you’re thinking you don’t want to establish the precedent of being a chair-tester? That’s probably a very wise decision.
